ONA
New York elegance meets photographic functionality in the spirit of Swahili 'ONA'.
Philosophy
New York bags and accessories in full-grain leather and waxed canvas, designed with a community of photographers. Timeless design, solid brass hardware, artisanal finishing. The name comes from Swahili: to see, to feel, to believe.
History
Founded in 2010 in New York City by designer Tracy Foster, ONA was born from an inspiring trip to South Africa in 2008. Tracy, searching for camera bags combining style and functionality, found nothing matching her vision of elegant accessories for creative photographers. She decided to create her own brand, named 'ONA' after the Swahili word meaning 'to see, to feel, to believe'. The company specializes in handcrafting bags from full-grain leather and waxed canvas, with solid brass hardware. Designed in collaboration with a community of photographers, ONA bags protect essential equipment while complementing personal style.
