Born from the shared vision of Canadian runners Nick and Willa Martire, norda (from the Latin word for 'north') emerged from their frustration with the global footwear industry. They couldn't find a trail running shoe that offered both technical performance and durability without cutting corners on sustainability. 'We couldn't find a trail shoe that was tough enough, light enough or fast enough to take us where we wanted to go. So we created it.' Inspired by Canada's toughest conditions, norda became the first brand to use bio-based Dyneema fiber in a trail shoe, creating 'the Lamborghini of trail running shoes' built to last 1000+ miles.
