History
Founded in 1908 by Franz Amstetter & Söhne (hence 'Framsohn') in the picturesque Waldviertel region in Klein Pertholz, Lower Austria. This family business, now in its fourth generation, perpetuates a centuries-old textile tradition in this densely forested region of northern Austria. Framsohn Frottier uses the particularly soft primary rock water to weave incomparably soft towels and dye them gently. Complete production and finishing takes place under one roof with sustainability and connection to nature in mind.
