Flint and Tinder
The essence of American workwear reinvented with an unwavering commitment to domestic production.
Philosophy
American-made heritage basics. Selvedge denim, waxed canvas, flannel. Huckberry house brand.
History
Founded in 2012 by Jake Bronstein, former marketing consultant, with a mission to reignite American manufacturing and save a few factories along the way. Starting with a Kickstarter campaign for premium men's underwear made in a family-run American factory, Flint and Tinder raised $291,493 (nearly 10 times the initial goal). The success of the 10-Year Hoodie made it the first crowdfunded fashion project to surpass one million dollars according to Guinness Book. In 2016, Huckberry acquired the brand which became their house label, perpetuating the philosophy of 'luxuriously rugged yet refined'.
