History
Founded in 2003 by Tom Kay in a flat above a surf shop in St Agnes, Cornwall, after noticing problems with the ethics, design and functionality of many action sports brands. Finisterre began with an innovative fleece designed to keep out chill winds and warm up cold bodies of cold-water surfers. Named after one of the most rugged headlands in the North Atlantic, the brand quickly became recognized as a cold-water surf reference and earned B Corp certification for its environmental commitment.
